Peel the hot potatoes and immediately mash them on the flour. Then add the lightly beaten egg with a pinch of salt.
Mix the ingredients with your hands to get a ball of pasta. Shape your gnocchi.
Boil the water in a large saucepan.
When the water boils, drop the gnocchi to cook. After a few minutes, as soon as they rise to the surface, they will be cooked.
Remove them with a skimmer and put them in a pan.
Mix them quickly with the tomato sauce to prevent the gnocchi from sticking together.
Alternatively, after boiling the gnocchi, you can quickly sauté them in a pan with a little olive oil and add the tomato sauce or one of your favourite sauces.
